*Sniff*...an RIP Cookie

I often forget how much I love this song and this vid.  I guess it's just that I refuse to believe the woman died, you know?

  1. I still can't believe she is gone, its nearing 10 years. She would have been 31 this year. That was a great song & video. I love 'Back in One Piece'.

  3. 10 years...wow. I remember when I heard the news. Half my family is Bahamian, so us kids had a minor freak out that she died in the Bahamas. It's weird to think that she's really dead and gone. I love this song, but my favourite is 'We Need a Resolution'.

  4. My favorite songs by here are "Rock the boat" and "One in a million". I saw her in concert in 1997. We were both born in 1979 but she is a year older than me cause she was born in January and I was born in December. It freaked me out when she died cause she was my age and so young. Plus I learned how to roll my my hips from watching her do it in all her videos.

  6. I love Aailyah, my favorite part of the vid is 1:28-1:36. Did any one catch that smile Jet gave Aaiyah when she entered the scene? Miss you "Baby Girl."

  7. @Alpha - That smile was incredible wasn't it? His whole face was lit up like a x-mas tree.

And then he ran up the walls and took her into his arms.

Pretty sure his wife didn't like that too much. Like, she understood his doing the movie, but probably wondered why he had to do the music video as well, you know? The money couldn't have been that good.

At least...that's what I'd be wondering.
