RE ep 7 ~ Hell naw, he doesn't forgive her! Ole Ms. Carol had to drag that "yes" from his cold dead fingers!RE ep 8 ~ The vloggers were the best part. I never thought I'd say that, but they were. For some reason, I like how the BW/AM movement is sort of parallel to the black natural hair movement. It's like embracing the old AND the new at the same time.
Episode 7: Dre's reluctance to forgive irritated me but I think that most men would react the same way. Somehow the gander won't allow the goose the same liberties that he enjoys. The vloggers didn't add anything of value but their screentime was appropriately short so I barely noticed them, which was nice.Episode 8: I was wondering if they were going to address her texture change. I really liked this episode and am in the process of transitioning. The vlogger commentary was complementary for the most part. I don't know if the actress portraying Renee is being forced to overact but there's a bit too much neck snapping for my taste and the whole presentation is getting close to a caricature IMO. Even moreso for Eugene. The music was better for both episodes and there seemed to be a bit more chemistry. One thing that I have been waiting for is for Dre to actually say something with some romantic content to Audrey. We've heard about how Dre's "got it going on" but he doesn't really seem to shower her with any complements.
