Remember the contract, ladies and gentlemen.

So what are your thoughts on 2012?  And what are your hopes for 2013?

  1. Rain is dating actress Kim Tae Hee as confirmed by the K-media.
They have been called the first couple of 2013.

    1. Ah fooey, so not right!.. just joking, Really though I'm happy for the man. I'm still hoping that he'll come to the states as he planned when he left the military and be in some more movies or a TV series. In some way,if Lee Hyori and him would have clicked, I could see them more so as the first couple of 2013. Finally, Rain has a love life. P.S...isn't he supposed to get out of the military this year?

  3. I know what you mean about Hyori. However it was unlikely they would become a power couple after she started dating some random dude. Honestly, I just can't picture JiHoon with a Korean women period. (But that's just me.. And it's not like they are getting married)

    1. Yeah, I'm with you with Rain. I often thought that he would date a Black or a Korean(Asian woman), but moreso with a Black one.Wishful thinking? No, you just know people. Rain is probably waiting to get out of Korea and come to states ,hopefully to establish himself.Rain gives out subtle hints on who he is. There are non Black guys who have dated within their own peers, but give subtle hints that they are interested in Black women. With people like Rain, you never know.

    2. You know it's not surprising, from what I'm reading they calling it the new power couple. 1. Korea supposedly loves her. 2. She is pretty and older than Rain and you know Rain likes older women. 3. It's convenient for him, especially being in the Army.

The funny thing is reading K-netizens reaction is that she could do better. LOL

Honestly to me, it will be a hard fought strategy game with him if he ever decides to date a black woman. She would have to either be a big enough star like a Halle Berry or Beyonce type to buffer, even though he will try and make a go with movies in America, his home base is South Korea.

  4. 2012 wasn't the year I expected it to be. In fact, I'm pretty disappointed and I don't mind saying so. But the main thing is that I'm still alive, still healthy and have another chance to achieve some of my goals.

I don't make NYRs because I don't like putting unrealistic pressures on myself. But I do know this: in 2013, some things will come to an end so that there will be new beginnings.

    Happy New Year, guys!

    1. 2012 was a hell of a lot better than 2011 (for me, anyway). Which means 2013 needs to be even better.

  5. While 2012 wasn't a tragic year for me, it cost me a great deal and I was glad to kick it to the curb. The Japanese are big on bonenkai 忘年会, the forget the year alcohol fest and everyone should try it. While I didn't get sloppy drunk (didn't drink at all), I partook in my own way. As of now, 2012 has been excised from my mind.

    I will own 2013!!

    2. No one here wants to bring the baggage of the old year into the new one. If you drink enough poison, you'll forget at least a few months of it. I wholeheartedly agree with this "ritual." :D

  6. First let me wish everyone a grand 2013! Wow!just to think, when I would look at sci-fi shoes like Space 1999/Moon Base Alpha or listening to Prince singing 1999 I thought that it was fiction. Now, we've made it to the new millennium. I'm thankful that I went to Watch Night to pay homage to my ancestors and to the Almighty...and that I lived to see this year.

Far as 2012? There were struggles and surprises, but most of them turned out for the better. For some reason, I'm looking forward to 2013 because of these surprises that turned up. I hoping for the best.

  7. Happy New Year everyone!

2012 was the year of the dragon which is my birth year, but it just didn't click well for me last year, I'm stuck in a rut and that can be frustrating. Hopefully I will have some surprising (good ones) and make good moves this year.

  8. I'm just working to make my self-employed self even more successful this year. All my other wishes feed from that, so I figure I'll be ok once I get that root secure.

    Yes, 'root'.
