Count the Fail

  1. Grief!

For once, I just wish that some singers stop getting stereotypical when it comes to videos ,like this. It's so lame and overplayed.. far as the situation. It's so crazy how people want to use that Kung Fu fighting theme to "prove" their love of Asian people and/or culture.

  2. Ugh. I saw Chris' face & the song title and I knew this was bad news. Notice the whole blatant MJ swag theft going on here. LOL. My haterade aside. I don't think that girl is actually Chinese at all, but that's a minor beef I guess. I agree with M's comment except this isn't a homage to Asian culture at all. It's simply that played out culture-war theme mixed with Romeo Must Die. *yawn* This isn't the worst of stereotypical Asian fetishism I've seen in a music vid so it isn't so bad. But there's always this running theme of non-Asians owning Asians at martial arts for some reason in all types of media. Symbolic metaphor and repressed feelings maybe?

  5. Ergh Chris Brown, why did u have to make a good song....didnt like u since i found out u beat your girlfriend, and that was okay cause ur music got worse...but i actually like this song, i wuld not have listened/watched it if it was not posted here. The video, well what do you expect ? It's hollywood. Very romeo must die role reversed with very strong MJ elements and I swear the asian guy from Ciara's video was the one dancing in the club...i recognize his funny expressions...

    It's alright.

  7. I HATE this moron! Did he have some good songs? Yes. After the whole Rihanna thing though I just can't. I see this and think when is the character in the video going to beat her up. Sorry I have no respect for this so called "man".

    1. A LOT OF PEOPLE FEEL THE SAME WAY...i do not know who these people are going to his concerts. I cringe when I hear kpop artists cite Chris Brown as their inspiration. I'm like "don"t they know ? I thought it was common knowledge???!!"

It's such a shame in all honesty cause his early stuff is my kind of music and i love dancers. I think he should just go away...along with Rihanna too cause she went back to him...Or maybe she just needs counseling or to find a better man, i don't know.

TBH this video is stereotypical but with me the main FAIL is Chris Brown....period. If Neyo did this i wuldnt be upset. I'll be honest.

    2. What got me was last year I think he did an awards show. There were idiots tweeting about how they would let him beat them up. I do not think ANYONE'S dancing is that good. Yet, that was all they kept saying. It was scary cause I'm sure there are some girls who are letting guys treat them like crap. Just so because they are good looking or other superficial crap.

    1. Hahahaha, loved the whole video, not a big fan of justin timberlake anymore though.

Didn't want to mention the fact she was half asian cause mixed race are both of the race, not more of less of. But yeah BOTH HER PARENTS WERE FULL ASIAN SO ?????

    2. Well that's why it's so silly---you have full Asian parents of a half Asian girl. I mean, I understand in the world we live in kids can be adopted or be step-children etc. but it's pretty obvious they were trying to pass her off as full Asian, or I guess more specifically Chinese. It's that whole all-Asians-look-a-like thing where they don't even make an effort to make it look believeable.
I agree on Justin though---his time is over. He should just stick with acting or retire.

  9. Comparing a woman to an object is never a good bet especially when you are known for punching on the "objects" in your possession. Sit down Chris and let MJ keep his style and persona.

  10. At 1:04, I'd seen enough. My momma always told me that any man that wants to date me needs to bring his motherfucking ass to the door, ring the doorbell, and come in like he got some damn sense.

    1. I know! That made me so mad! My boyfriend would never dare do that to me! He has such a lack of respect for women it kills me! She's not no dang dog! You don't nod your head and expect her to come running to you! If a man isn't a gentleman then he isn't worth your dang time! I never hold my books, push a cart, open my own door shoot so much more when my boyfriend is with me! He says a woman is a lady and should be treated as so! Chris needs some lessons big time. I almost stopped watching at that point. it killed me to finish that.

  11. Liked the futuristic stuff, as for everything else I felt like it was low budget, I pretty much agree with what everyone is saying.

  12. I really don't care for his personal life and I don't think that should stop anyone from listening to his music. I like the song very much and hell he is a good dancer and musician, why can't someone be aspired by him. Yeah what he did was wrong, but it's alot music artist aren't telling you. Idols are inspired by what he did they are inspired by his talent.
