The Blasian Narrative is Now a DramaFever Affiliate

The fine folks at DramaFever reached out to our Narrative concerning our cross-over potential in audiences, and so we figured...why not?

So don't be surprised if you see a lot more DramaFever material (including our brand spanking new widget) cropping up all over the place.  If you want us to give special spotlight to a drama you're watching, feel free to let us know so we can start embedding (thus allowing you to comment in a relatively safe space).  And talk to us!  Let us know what you're watching and why you enjoy it so much.

  1. With Kdrama's I mostly watch when some of my favorite Kactors from movies play in, like So Ji Sub, Kim Nam Gil, Gong Hyo Jin, Cha Seung Won. The drama I'm currently watching is Empress Ki. My other favorites: Cruel City (Heartless City), The Great Queen Seon Deok, Master's Sun, The Greatest Love, City Hall and I Hear Your Voice. I like Pasta Pasta but Gong Hyo Jin character was such a push over and it was pissing me off. LOL

  2. I am now watching 'warm words' and 'the woman who married thrice' and 'reply me 1994'. I like the first two dramas because is family oriented without being to 'makjang'. As for 'reply me 1994' I just love the whole flow of the series.

    1. YES. Powerful female hero? Check. Outstanding female villain? Check, check. Not to mention plenty of running commentary about women in society.

I have lost nights to that show. But I will warn you...after about Episode 50, the show loses its charm.

    2. Yes, just like Ank said its a very good show with strong female characters. It's 60 episodes but just break it up into seasons if u need a break. You can watch it on Viki & Netfliks.

    3. Oops! U can also watch it on Drama Fever.

    4. What happens after 50 eps?
I'm usually a Chinese ancient drama series person but I'll give it a run.

    5. I only liked Queen Seon Duk for the villain. She was everything and I actually stopped watching QSD halfway because they messed up. I'd recommend Hwang Jin Yi highly, that is one of my best k-dramas and is the reason I adore Ha Ji Won. I'm not really watching any k-dramas right now, but I'd love to watch Empress Ki.

    6. Mishil is AMAZING. I have the biggest crush on her. She is a hero.

I need a remake NOW with Mishil as the protag because I can't stand this kiddy melodrama and their stupid little relationships. Give me a Woman any day.

    7. I'm a HUGE fan of Mishil; I too would like to see a more historically accurate drama with her as protagonist; I think there's an epic buried in there.

And I'd want Ko Hyun Jung to return as Mishil because she was utterly flawless.

  4. Hello everyone, concerning dramas I watched and enjoyed, I might suggest "Alone in love (2006)", a drama about everyday lives of a couple of characters, full of humor, sadness, melancholy, realism...I love Son Ye-jin, she acted very well and Kam Wu-seong, Lee Hana performed quite well too...I also wished to see Lee Jin-wook more even if he isn't as good as the others according to me, but I forgive because he's too gorgeous...

    1. Hey M can u suggest some Japanese dramas? I hear they have more variety.

    2. It depends on your taste and interests. I'd say that if you like topics like marriage/divorce (young couples) with a comedy feeling yet realistic and touching, then watch "Saikou no Rikon" (Best Divorce).
If you like family/couple/bullying issue at school/education stuff then watch "Kazoku Game". It's funny and serious at the same time.
These 2 are my favourite dramas of this year. I haven't watched many though, my pc was so slow at loading streaming videos that I gave up a couple of months ago.

If you like really serious stuff then watch dramas from the channel WOWOW. As for me, I'm pretty cool with it and Fuji TV.

Regarding Korean dramas...I'm currently watching "The End of The World" and I find it good enough, not exciting but interesting so far, I hope it'll even get better after the 2 first eps.
But I'd really recommend White Christmas (the psychological type, it has nothing to do with Santa and lovely stuff, for real).

    3. Meanie,

Though there are several Japanese dramas I liked, there are a couple that got my attention. If you have some tissues next to you,I would suggest 1litre of tears and judging by its title it will leave you just like that if you're emotional.Koukou Nyuushi (Mystery) or Like someone in love (Drama) .
I like these pictures, but you may/may not like them. Just like Myra said, it just depend on what genre of pictures young like. I tend to like dramas, crime and romantic movies/series.

  10. I'm somewhat new to this website, I'm glad that my two favorite websites are now affiliated with each other. Currently I'm watch Runaway Plan B starring Bi Rain. Recently I finished watching The Heirs and I'm thinking of watching City Hunter or Faith. Lee Min Ho is starring in both series, he was also amazing in Boys Over Flowers. Haven't seen IRIS yet but, I believe TOP from Big Bang stars in it. I was told that the love scenes are pretty good. Just wish there was a Kdrama starring an Asian man and a Black woman.
